Lakeside Packers
Lakeside is the largest employer in the Brooks Area and has hundreds of jobs still available at anytime for all types of people. Employees start at around $11.25 an hour. This may have changed since we last checked. For more information go to the Lakeside Website. Lakeside is not the only option for people moving to Brooks. Places are hiring all over the place and you may want to consider them first.
City of Brooks
The City of Brooks hires a lot of people and lists their employment on their website. The Brooks employees a lot of seasonal workers and summer students during the summer. Check their website for current job listings. Note: The Brooks Park and Recreation department are now accepting application for seasonal and summer students for this summer. If you have a valid drivers liscense and are able to do labour work please send in your resume.
Job Bank
The HRDC job bank lists a number of jobs in the Brooks and Medicine Hat area. Often oil patch related jobs are listed on here. If you want to search for a Brooks job go here. Most of the other jobs are listed in the local paper. Brooks is a booming town and there is currently a shortage of labour, especially for the service industry. Some places have even cut their hours because they have been unable to find workers. If you are moving here you probably will not have problems finding that type of job.
