Golfing in Brooks Alberta
Brooks is home to two Golf Courses and is near many others. This page will provide as much information as possible for each golf course. Once golfing season starts again it will be updated with more pictures and information on each one. Meadows Par 3 Golf Course: Is located just west of Brooks on the corner of Cassils road and highway 36. Meadows golf course has been around for a long time and is a very popular. If you are in Brooks you simply need to get on Cassils Road and head west. You will travel outside of Brooks for 5km or so and you will see the golf course to your left hand side as you approach the 36 Highway. If you are coming from the Transcanada highway simply turn south on the 36 and you will see the golf course to your left hand side as you approach the Brooks turn off.

The Brooks Golf Club: Is located right within the town limits of Brooks in the east end of town. It is a full 19 hole golf course with a restaurant and Pro shop and driving range. For more information and pictures of the Brooks Golf Club please visit their website at http://www.brooksgolfclub.ca/

Once in Brooks you simply need to head to the south east end of town. Get on 2nd Ave East (its a major road) and head east till you are in a residential type area. The golf course is visible from the road. The entry to the clubhouse is at the east end of the golf course.

Other Golf Courses:
Rolling Hills Golf: Typical golf course with water hazards and bunkers. It has a Clubhouse that serves excellent burgers and fries. The Shop also rents out clubs, carts and everything one would need for a day of golfing. This course has 9 holes. This course is open from 8am to 10pm. Directions: From Brooks you head on the Transcanada Highway going east. It will be approx. 14km You then turn south (right) on the 875 highway (also the rolling hills turnoff). Head down that road for about 45kms until you see the course on your right hand side.
Duchess Golf Course: Typical golf course with water hazards and bunkers. It has a Clubhouse and also rents out everything one needs for a day of golf. This is a 9 hole course. Licensed clubhouse in the nice cozy town of Duchess. For further information please contact (403) 378-4710
Directions: From Brooks you head on 2nd Street West. 2nd Street West is a major artery road that runs north to south. If you continue to take this road north you will exit Brooks and be on the 873 highway heading towards Duchess. The golf course is located in the North end of Duchess.
